The Blair Witch project starts with the characters in the film getting ready to start their project. The project that they are doing is to find out if the rumour about the Blair Wicth is ture.
When watchin the opening you are introduced to them one by one.
If you was to just watch the first 5 minutes you would want to watch the rest as you would want to know if they find out anything or whether anything happens to them.
